When will the 2027 almanac tables be updated?
Reference tables carried forward from 2026 are re-checked quarterly (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4). The three new 2027 tables (project-count, permit-filing, review-activity) receive their rows at the end of each quarter. Any change to a cited standard is filed on the day it is picked up, not held for the quarterly pass. As of 7 September 2026, 10:40 PM ET no 2027 maintenance has been filed and every planned row on the schedule is open.

§01Why the schedule is filed in advance
A maintenance schedule that only appears with the entries it produced is a schedule the reader has to trust. A schedule filed in advance, on a calendar the reader can see before the year begins, is a schedule the reader can check. The point is that maintenance cadence cannot be tightened or loosened after the fact to make the record read more favourably.
The schedule below is a plan, not a report. Every row will move to “Filed” on the day the maintenance is completed; any row that is skipped keeps its “Open” status and is noted in the following quarterly maintenance pass with a short reason.

§03Out-of-cycle updates
A change to a cited standard is filed on the day it is picked up, not held for the next quarterly pass. Two reasons: standards changes are often the most consequential updates the almanac carries, and holding them for a quarter would make the almanac stale on a load-bearing value for up to three months.
